Fall is the perfect time to start some new crafts. I love getting out the more rustic fabrics, burlap, neutral papers and anything with leaves and pumpkins on it. I decided last week to use some of my dies to cut out faux leather for earrings. I had some amazing leaves and pumpkin dies that I traditionally used for paper crafting that I decided to try with faux leather. I think they came out amazing. I love all the Fall colors and look forward to wearing a pair once It’s cold enough for a sweater and some boots.
I also hand painted on some of them with acrylic paint and pens to add some additional color. I plan to make a variety of these for my ETSY store, our neighborhood Fall Fest and give others away as gifts. I want to also make some more paper beads to add to some of my other faux leather earrings. I think the combination of a Fall colored paper bead would look so pretty.
