I’m so excited to showcase some of my latest earrings. I used a variety of materials including paper, wood, acrylic paint, gold and silver leafing, and metal findings. Most were purchased on Amazon. The paper was purchased in Korea during our last trip to Insadong, South Korea near Seoul. I love using a mix of materials and using layered paint over the paper or around the edges to make it unique and textured. I painted the backs on these too. The white silver and pink pair was inspired by some of the homemade papers I made last weekend. The earrings with the paper was inspired by the paper jewelry I made last month. I love using a variety of materials. The actual earrings are made from wood so they are extremely light weight. Even the larger ones were not heavy on their ears. I always enjoy making Art I can wear. Now I just have to decide which earrings I will give as gifts, which I will post on Etsy and which ones I want to keep for myself 🙂
Here are some of the links to the products I purchased on Amazon if you are interested in trying these yourself.
